August in Havasu

Posted

We are now in August and the lake is ready to help you cool off.  There is plenty of sunshine during the days and warm nights.  This time of year, the lake sees many vacationers that make good use of the great camping coves on the lake. Camping on the lake allows for the great early morning boat run for Wake sports or just a fun boat ride.  Don’t forget the sunset cruise on the water. The water is pretty warm in many of the shallow coves.  For cooler water, it is a boat ride up the river to cool off.

Here is what is happening in and around Lake Havasu City in August.

August 10th – Big Bass Bash – Southwest Kayaks in the English village.

August 11th – Paws for Fashion at the Nautical Resort

August 18th – Colorado Building Industry Association (CBIA) Charity Bowling Tournament
